How does it work?

In the conventional method, all steps are carried out directly at the Toyokawa Menkyo Center.

To get your Japanese driver's license from scratch, you go through five steps, which are as follows:

    50-question written exam 30 minutes - Pass with 90 points

    Practical test on the indoor course Passing score of 70 points
  • 3

    100-question written exam 50 minutes - Passing score of 90 points
  • 4

    First Aid Course Made in Shizuoka

    Practical test on a street course Passing score of 70 points

  • UNISERV is responsible for providing guidance and transportation on test days by 1 year after the contract is signed.

QUALIFICATION FROM SCRATCH - CONVENTIONAL METHOD
I'm not from Aichi-ken. Can I do the Japanese driver's license process from scratch using the conventional method with you?

UNISERV's in-person consultation services are provided exclusively at the Toyokawa Menkyo Center, which serves only residents of Aichi Prefecture.

If you live in another province, we won’t be able to assist you in person with your application process. However, you can still count on our help with the theory portion! We offer an online course with exclusive practice tests so you can study wherever you are, practice as many times as you want, and be much better prepared for the theory test.

What documents are needed to file the lawsuit?

To start with, in addition to the cost of our consulting package, you will need:
• Individual Certificate of Residence (Juminhyo), showing nationality, Zairyu Card number, and complete visa information (type, duration, and validity), WITHOUT the MyNumber
- 6 photos in size 3×2.4 or 3×2.5

Do I need to know Japanese to take the theory test?

No. The theory tests are conducted in Portuguese.

Is it possible to take the theory and practical tests at weekends?

No. Tests are only carried out on working days.

Is it possible to do the practical classes at weekends?

Yes, according to the availability of the driving school's schedule.

On average, how much will I spend in total to get my Japanese license from scratch?

From ¥265,000, including:
- Advisory package
- Menkyo Center fees
- An average of 8 practical lessons on the internal route
- 4 street classes
- 1 reverse lesson
- First aid course

This amount can vary according to the number of practical lessons taken, possible failures and other factors throughout the process.

How long does it take to get a license?

Starting at 3 months. The timeframe depends on your academic performance, your driving skills, and your availability to complete the various stages. Throughout the entire process, our team will be there for you to provide the necessary support and help you get your driver’s license as quickly as possible.
